On a trip down to mid Wales in the summer we came across a series of caches in or near the lay-bys along the A44. This cache is placed to celebrate a small part of that route in the north west of England.
This cache is placed along a lay-by on the A54 between Congleton and Buxton.
From this point, on a good day you will see Derbyshire and Staffordshire, whilst standing in Cheshire.
If you are feeling a little more energetic or have some time to spare take a walk down to The Viking Hoard
The cache is NOT hidden in the dry stone walling.
