Geocache Description:

Ash is a lovely country village in East Kent not far from the coast located between Sandwich and Canterbury.  Nearby is the Roman Fort of Richborough Castle.  There are many walks and paths available across the farmland.  Farming activities can be seen all around the village.

Cricket and football can be see being played on the local recreation ground.  Rugby is also played in an adjacent field.

Cache is located on a footpath that runs from the Ash bypass to the village centre, past the local recreation ground and allotments.  The path is popular with dog walkers at all times of the year as it is part of a circular walk around the village.  The cache is small plastic container containing a log book, pencil and a few swaps.
