Come on out and help do a good deed. After such a warm summer, all the plastic bottles and aluminum cans have gathered along the shore.
For this CITO Event we wil start at the southwest corner of Willard Bay and head eastbound along the shore for approximatly .5 miles, which is where the additional waypoint is refrencing. At that point we can climb back up the side of the retaining wall and head back to the parking area closest to the starting point and pick up any trash along the top of the wall.
I will provide the Trash and Recyclables Bags, as well as rubber gloves for anybody/eveybody who helps out.
I will have a cooler of chilled water for all attendees, but if you want something else feel free to bring you own fluids.
I have talked to the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and their policy is that they want a list of names of all attendees on their form, which is the general policy of a log. Also a plan of attack, which we have. And a date and time.
