Geocache Description:

A quaint little stop very close to US #1 and I-85 that many people may not know about . There is some history of Hampton Roads VA here because the quarry is the source of the asphalt for building the roads. Also the nearby pond is open to the public for fishing or just skipping some rocks across the water. The view of the quarry is not as good as it used to be because of the fence that has been erected to keep visitors further back.

Camouflage mighty mega cache container with 2 Trackables located inside. Travel Fire Dept and Travel Law Enforcement. Bring something to sign log! This is my 1st cache hidden and it was made possible because of supplies from my fellow cacher and family member crownroyalfila. hope you enjoy the location.
