This cache will bring you along the shoreline of Lake 'O The Dalles. There is a boat launch nearby - good access to launch your non-mororized watercraft. Limited parking here - you can also park at the CCC pavilion and take the short walk over to this location.
If you don't have a boat, there is also swimming available on the other side of the lake from this location and a couple different fishing piers. A very peaceful location.
Regular-size container awaits and should be accessible most times of the year.

About Interstate State Park
Interstate is Wisconsin's oldest state park, established in 1900. Located along the picturesque St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, the park provides scenic views of the river and the steep-sided gorge known as the Dalles of the St. Croix. The Ice Age Interpretive Center features a film, photographs, murals, and information about the great glaciers. There are over 9 miles of hiking trails in the park, many which take you through scenic State Natural Areas.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the park manager at Interstate State Park. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at the Wisconsin DNR website.
