Recently, I went in search of a cache I had heard other cachers praise – “Mulch Ado About Nothing” (GC165G9). It did not disappoint, and earned a favorite point from me. While searching for it, I found some materials lying around that I decided would be helpful in creating new geocaches. I picked them up, brought them home, and used some of them to create "Mulch Ado About Nothing ~ Act II" (GC4B8P8) with the permission of surrealchef who hid the original cache. I have finally gotten around to hiding the next in this series.
This cache is located in a city park. You may encounter muggles along the walking path, on the nearby soccer fields, or playing golf across the fence. Please use stealth to prevent detection. A well-timed shoe-tie may be helpful.
Park hours are 7 am to 10 pm (summer), 8 am to sunset (winter). You have two options for parking, depending on how far you want to walk. I have listed both as waypoints, and described the distance and route. Option 1 is preferrable for handicap accessibility, as the route is completely paved.
The cache container should easily slide out of its camouflage. Please replace it as found so that the next cacher will have the same experience.
One bit of trivia - this park was built in 1963 on top of the city landfill.
Have fun and stay safe!
Congratulations to queen_ladybug and ElementalJay on FTF!
