Geocache Description:

CacheKopas on the Ledge of Section #3 while
Via Ferrata Rock Climbing at Torrent Falls in Campton, KY- April 2012.

I placed this cache for my longtime good frind CacheKopas!  She is the one who first introduced me to Geocaching nearly a year & a half ago and got me instantly hooked!

I have known CacheKopas for over 5 years now since we first met in Band Class my Freshman Year of High School. I was rather obnoxious back then, always acted before thinking, and was just a pain in the neck to everyone back then (especially in Band Class where the first half we were completely unsupervised as we warmed up). So I have no idea how she managed to tolerate me & stay friends with me over all these years, especially back then, but she did! :)

We were bored & exploring my basement... don't ask! lol

Over the years, CacheKopas & I have remained good friends and to this day she is one of my best & oldest friends. Also someone who deserves mention if I am to be talking about CacheKopas is the one who got CacheKopas in Geocaching, her dad CherryCacher. He is one of the kindest & most giving individuals that I have ever had the pleasure to meet in my life! Not only has he always been good to me and one of my most trusted confidants that I look up to, but he has always been great to her & treats her as if she were his own! Now that is something that shows great character in a man to be able to do that and I am proud to be able to call him my Geo-Grandfather!! Sorry there CherryCacher, not trying to make you feel old here or anything!

CacheKopas is one of the people that has always been there for me, and I've always been there for her, but even though I can sometimes not be the easiest person to deal with, she knows that she isn't either at certain times!! Hahaha

CacheKopas wanted me to help her pick out her new glasses...
This is what I suggested she try! Hahaha
She didn't agree...

In all seriousness though, CacheKopas is one of my Best Friends in the whole wide world & I don't know what I would do without her! We've helped each other through so much over the years (Mrs. Anderson's 12th Grade English Class our Senior Year at BHS) and have so many fun times hanging out & great adventures Geocaching together and doing stuff with Venture Crew 49 with the Boy Scouts that I don't know what I would do with my life if I didn't have her in it! :)

Also, my first Geocache Find too!

So here is to you, my friend! As you know I've always sucked with people & using words, so this is my little way of saying 'Thank You' to you for all you have done for me over the years and for tolerating me with everything I have done over the past few years! (and everything I am probably going to do in the future too! :P Haha)

for Summer 2013 with Boy Scout Venturing Crew 49!

The cache is a simple one outside the place that she works.  No hiking, no long walks, high terrain, or anything of the sort. A PnG that you can park right next to, just the way she likes it! :) She literally has to go by this one every day to get to work since it is right outside the employee entrance!  :)

I would like to make a special note about the cache cjm918. A few days after this cache was published I was informed by another local Geocacher that cjm918 was actually INSIDE the Dayton Mall when this cache was published. After reading the name of the cache they called another Geocacher to ask them what the proper etiquette would be for this situation, even though I did not specifically designate it as a Tribute cache. In the end they decided that even though all they had to do was walk outside to sign the log, that they would bow out of the FTF and leave it for CacheKopas to claim. While in the end other Geocachers came and got FTF on it, this shows great character on the part of cjm918 for doing that. So I just wanted to take a moment to say Thank You to them for doing that for CacheKopas!!
