Geocache Description:

A small traditional cache, big enough for trackables placed near this great little shop/restaurant overlooking the Olifants river.

This original Trading Post is steeped in history (more info to be edited at a later stage). The whole area was given to an Indian family by Paul Kruger and is still owned by this family today.

It is aptly named Three Bridges due to the three bridges that cross the Olifants river at this point. You have the original old low level road bridge, followed a little further west by the newer high level road bridge and then a little further west is the railway bridge built in 1976.

The railway line from Hoedspruit travels to Mica and then onto Gravellotte and Tzaneen.
