My 'old caching mate' Archie used to use this road when it was complete to access probably the best swimming pool in the area at Diamond creek, and he shares his memories here:
"The road was steep and would test both nerves and brakes one way, and power and traction the other way.
The road was never sealed until it after had been severed.
The result was that the picture in the description was typical of all the cars that attempted the accent and decent.
One of my teachers used to live on this street and she always had a story of each various unsuccessful attempt.
Well the road was cut well before the windmill (not the Aussie icon type but the dutch type) had been built up the road.
First everyone only used Mason street but then the bypass around the cemetery at the bottom of the squiggly mile (Where a local by the name of Peter Brock learnt his skills), was straightened and a roundabout was erected.
This street was a local icon and now partially rescued with the addition of this lovely use of the area".
Thanks R
Recommended but not necessary to park at the PRICE CRT suggestion, there are less driveways to obstruct and a more discrete approach from below, that assumes you have even read the description.
Anyhoo, the puzzle to solve is basic and purely Cardiovascular.
My Gpsr had the top at 93 m, and the base at 39m.
that's about a 50m climb in a short few steps: now imagine doing that with a horse and cart.

The puzzle rests on you counting the number of Steps (risers not foot steps).
your answer 'S' will help find the simple cache
S37 40.(Sx28)+8
