Priscilla Brook Crosses Route 2 Traditional Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

ndjeff: The State of New Hampshire has begun work to replace the bridge over Priscilla Brook. I have removed the cache from the guardrail and anticipate work may take a year. Sorry; I will re-evaluate when the bridgework is complete.

Geocache Description:

Priscilla Brook is a small stream that crosses Route 2 in Jefferson and flows toward the Israel River in the Meadows. The Priscilla Brook Trail, now abandoned, ran alongside it.  It is still used as a bushwhack route to begin the ascent up  Mt. Pliny. From the cache, on a clear day, one can see the summit buildings on Mt. Washington and the Cog Railway by looking east towards Gorham.

Cache is a magnitic key case placed at the usual roadside hide location. I thought I'd put it out to help the August challenge participants. Not far from Diabetic Style-Jefferson.
