Watership Down-Bonus cache.... This cache isn't on the marshes but close by.

The walk is sort of a circular walk of about 2 miles though you will need to double back a short distance after caches 6,7 & 8 have been completed. It takes us about 90 minutes to complete with 2 little ones in tow.

The caches vary in size and style and there is a bonus cache to collect at the end once you have collected the relevant numbers to complete the Co-ords for it. The numbers are on individual log sheets of varying caches.

Please note a pen and tweezers will be required for some of the caches.

The walk takes you on a small part of Doxey Marshes which is rich in both wildfowl. It is not suitable for wheelchairs due to kissing gates at the entrances. Dogs are allowed though on most of the walk they will be needed to be kept on a leash in accordance to the Marshes regulations. It is liable for flooding in wet weather though this shouldn’t affect the caches, but Boots are advised .

Permission is granted subject to the following conditions (delete as applicable):- • The Staffordshire Wildlife Trust will accept no responsibility for any accident or injury arising through the visit, however caused. • Due care should be taken to ensure that no disturbance or damage is caused and the reserve is left as found. • No geological specimens, or specimens of flora & fauna may be removed from the reserve other than for accurate identification purposes. In the case of geological specimens these must be suitably recorded with a label stating where & when collected and a photograph submitted to the Trust.
