The cache is in the town of Athens VT. Park on trailhead at the end of Ledge Road, off of VT Rt 35. Take the Creature Rock Trail (white blazes) about 0.1 miles. You will see creature rock on your left which consists of a series of very large boulders with cave-like openings. Once you find the cache continue up the trail to the summit view area for a beautiful view of the Green Mountains from the top of the Athens Dome. This cache is in conserved land, with trails recently blazed by the Windmill Hill Pinnacle Association.
The cache is in a pink container, contains some tokens and a logbook. It is under a shelter and in plain sight, but you might have to crawl for a little bit to find it! This is a great spot for a picnic or a rest after hiking all day in the various nearby trails.
