Geocache Description:

Take a stroll around a surprisingly large and well-maintained cemetery in a small and sleepy Southern Highlands village.  Answers you find along your way will help you calculate GZ.  This should take less than half an hour to complete and follows grassed paths.

From Church Rd look for the white sign then turn into the access road and park in the obvious spot. Walk to these 3 sets of coords and answer the questions, substituting numbers for the letters, which you will use to decode GZ.

Q1: S 34° 34.923 E 150° 30.027 - The tallest statue in this cemetery is near the far left corner of this section, marking graves for the Vance family. In which year did William Vance (NOT William Lindsay Vance) die? Answer = 19AB.

Q2: S 34° 34.913 E 150° 30.030 - At the other end of this back row is a sad memorial to several Waters children. How old was Marjorie when she died? Answer = CD.

Q3: S 34° 34.878 E 150° 29.989 - Follow the path to the other section of the cemetery. How old was Archie Moore when he died? Answer = EF.

To work out the coordinates for GZ, refer to your answers from A to F and decode the following:

OLD GZ = S34 34.EB(F+A) E150 29.(F+C)(E+C)(D-C)
For new GZ, add 14 to the Southing and 2 to the Easting.
