Cache is on what remains of Footpath 17 Coity. The remainder has been swallowed by asphalt and housing.
Cache is named after the nearby accomodation opened in 1997 with recent and ongoing extensions it will be the second largest in Britain. Formerly the site contained the Glamorgan County Lunatic Asylum or Parc Gwyllt, built in 1887. The only part remaining is the clock tower.
