V Palm Scrub Traditional Cache

This is a nice hike for a family with a dog.  Good area in the park behind Alafaia woods subdivision with a nice lake and good open grass. You are best to enter from the sewer plant trail entrance at the right of tthe plaant. There is plenty of parking along the road.

You are looking for a 2 gallon screw top container with camouflage paint and the geo-sticker attached.

Enter the wide park entrance to the right of the plant and hike to the spill-way. There is a metal gate to keep out cars. If the spill-way is full of water then go to the left at the bottom and walk across the rocks.  No wet shoes here.  Continue to the bend and look to the right for a trail entrance into the woods.  This trail will lead you to the Little Econ and a very nice swimming area.  If you get to this area, you are too far.  Trust your geo-senses and follow the compass.  There is no need for bushwhacking, just follow into the palms around the entrannce.

Make sure you put the cache back the way you found it.  Cover is very important.
