This is a beautiful spot to come and sit and watch the wildlife and escape hectic urban life. Common wildlife seen here are Mallards and Muscovy Ducks, Moorhens, Geese, Grey Squirrels, Watervoles, Green Woodpecker, Kingfisher and the Grey Heron.
Depending on what time of day you visit, you may see a family of Ducks crossing the road, be careful and let them cross.
Be aware, the area can be very busy at certain times of the days and obviously dependant on the weather, there is plenty of seating around to take a rest and there are a couple of benches within sight of gz which could be used to wait for the passing muggles. Why not bring a picnic and cross over the road to enjoy the area in Coy Pond Gardens, a tranquil area beside the Bourne Stream.
Be careful with children as there is open, and in some places quite fast moving, water close to the gz and please be responsible with dogs so as not to frighten the wildlife.
The area is wheelchair friendly, however, final cache retrieval will need assistance.
This is my first cache so any feedback would be gratefully received!. There is a Bison Geocache container complete with log as a FTF Prize and I have placed a Teddy Travel Bug in there, please send him on his way!
**********Well done to Marmotz for FTF**********
