This is a Geocache / LetterBox Hybrid that Welcomes you to Hibou.
For those who are unfamiliar with LetterBoxing we will try to describe it. LetterBoxing is very similar to Geocaching with the exception that those who seek letterboxes seldom use GPSr units but rely mainly on hints that are posted on a website.
Another difference is that LetterBoxers do not trade swag but exchange stamp impressions which most LetterBoxers custom carve themselves. LetterBoxers stamp their trail/signature stamp image into the logbook and write any notes they want to add the same as a geocacher would do. They then make an impression of the Letterbox stamp in their own logbook.
Please feel free to join the letterbox fun. There are not nearly as many letterboxes in Ontario as Geocaches, but it is a nice supplement to geocaching.
In this box, you will find a regular Geocaching logbook and all the usual swag items. You will also find a small baggie that holds the actual LetterBox stamp and a logbook for stamp impressions. The box itself is a regular sized, clear loc-n-loc, that is labeled as a Geocache.
