This series of caches is intended to highlight the local group called Lakeland Geocachers. This group came together several years ago with the intent of increasing the popularity of geocaching in the Lakeland Region. Success is measured in the sense that the membership on the group's Facebook page has increased steadily and that geocachers from around the world have added smileys to their maps from caches found here.
This series consists of 35mm(ish) size containers hung from fences, signs and the occasional tree or two. Along the way, you will find seven cache containers with an alpha numeric code on/inside the cap. You will need these numbers to find the bonus puzzle cache.
