Das ist nicht der Cache
Die Bücherkiste
Ganz in der Nähe der Koordinaten findet Ihr den Sommer über auf einer Bank eine grosse Plastikbox. Das ist die Bücherkiste der Bibliothek Männedorf. In dieser Kiste sind Bücher zum Mitnehmen, Ausleihen, Tauschen oder einfach nur zum Lesen. Wenn Euch die Bücher nicht interessieren oder die Kiste ihren Winterschlaf hält, dann setzt Euch auf die Bank und geniesst die Aussicht. Ihr könnt auch eigene alte, neue, geliebte oder weniger geliebte, gelesene, vergessene, geschenkte oder träumende Bücher in der Kiste ablegen, um damit anderen eine Freude zu machen (selbstredend keinen rassistischen, pornographischen oder sonstwie ehrverletzenden Schund). So ist immer für Fluktuation in der Kiste gesorgt. Und vergesst nicht, nebenher noch den Cache zu suchen.
Der Cache befindet sich NICHT in der Kiste und die Kiste ist nicht der Cache. Dieser liegt aber ganz in der Nähe versteckt. Am besten gelangt man per Velo oder zu Fuss zum Cache. Anfahrt mit dem Auto oder dem ÖV ist aber auch möglich.
Der Cache ist im Prinzip leicht zu heben ist. Kinder (auch im Kinderwagen) und Hunde können sich problemlos auf die Suche machen. Rollstuhlfahrer brauchen Hilfe für den letzten Griff. Bitte gebt Euch Mühe, den Cache nach dem Heben wieder gut zu tarnen und die Bücherbox sorgfältig zu verschliessen. Auf alle Fälle bringt Ihr bitte einen eigenen Stift zum Loggen mit. Platz für Coins oder Travel Bugs hat es keinen.

Box of Books
Close to the coordinates - at least during the summer season - you will discover a plastic box on a bench. This is the box of books provided by the public library of Männedorf. Inside the box a lot of books reside. They are meant to be read, taken or replaced with other books. Occasionally you will even find English books. In case you are ignorant about the books or if the box is not available during the winter season you may rest a while and enjoy the view. Of course you may also bring along your own old or new, read or unread, forgotten or dreaming books to make other visitors happy (of course no racist, pornographic or other libeling trash). This would help immensely to maintain a decent fluctuation of books. And do not forget to find the cache.
The cache is not in the box. Nor is the box the cache! You will find the cache in close vicinity. It is advised to visit the cache by bike or by foot. To get to the spot by car or public transport is also possible.
The cache is a small tube box that is easy to retrieve. Please take care in camouflaging the cache carefully after logging. Close the box of books tightly. For children (and push-chairs) as well as for dogs the terrain is most suitable. Wheelchair users may need some assistance for the final grab. Do not forget to bring along a pen or pencil to sign the log-book. There is no space for coins or travel bugs.
