Geocache Description:

New Ferry Butterfly Park

This cache is placed near New Ferry Butterfly Park. This area was my back garden as I grew up as I lived backing onto this piece of waste land.

 

New Ferry Butterfly Park is an urban nature reserve that was developed on the former site of  a railway goods yard, coal yard and water softening plant at Bebington and New Ferry Station.  The reserve occupies 4.94 acres (2 hectares) and is a Site of Biological Importance.

 

The cache is not inside the nature reserve so can be picked up when it is closed.
