Il Santuario di Supina è un esempio di architettura religiosa tardo quattrocentesca e si trova nell'omonima frazione del comune di Toscolano Maderno, affacciata sul Garda. Da questo posto si gode la vista del lago tra gli ulivi e le piante di fico, accompagnati dai rumori delle cicale e dei grilli se arrivate in estate. La struttura è stata recentemente restaurata a partire dal 2005, ma purtroppo è quasi sempre chiusa. La potrete visitare la prima domenica del mese, quando viene celebrata la messa, o nel caso in cui ci sia casualmente presente qualcuno a mettere a posto, come è stato il nostro caso, in cui una signora gentile ed entusiasta ci ha aperto apposta.
Nelle vicinanze è possibile parcheggiare, mentre la strada per arrivare è molto stretta da percorrere in auto. In bici è molto più bello, e potrete anche dissetarvi alla fontanella di acqua potabile.

The Sanctuary of Supina is an example of religious architecture of the late fourteenth century, and it is located in Supina, which is ascribed to the municipality of Toscolano, overlooking the Garda lake. From this peaceful place you can enjoy an excellent view of the lake, among olive and fig trees, accompanied by the sounds of cicadas and crickets in the summer. The structure has recently been restored since 2005, but unfortunately it is almost always closed. You can visit it the first Sunday of the month, when the Mass is celebrated. Otherwise, if you are lucky and find someone who’s reordering the church, as it was our case, and a nice and enthusiastic lady opened the church on purpose to show us its beautiful interior.
Despite nearby parking is available, the road to get there is very narrow for cars. We suggest you, as a far more relaxing alternative, to go there by bike, or walking. Drinking water is also available.
