Geocache Description:

One in a series of caches dedicated to the cartoon characters from the golden age of animation. The Google satellite view of this area is out of date. The construction is complete and there is a pull off area for parking within a short distance of the cache.

Slow Poke Rodriquez was the cousin of Speedy Gonzales and known as the slowest mouse in all Mexico. Speedy was very protective of Slow Poke, but it was not necessary. Slow Poke was quoted as saying, "I may be slow in the feet, but not in the head." Click on the link above fo a brief clip of Slow Poke.
