The Armory Arts Village was featured in an article on MSN listing "10 of the World's Most Unusual Apartments." Located on the site of Michigan's first state prison (see the historical marker sign near the parking coordinates), you can still see the stone walls that surrounded the prison yard. If you stop by during the day, you can go inside the large apartment building and check out the inside of the prison building. There are some murals and informative plaques as well.
The cache is located near the foundation of several connected warehouses that held twine, hemp, and lime.
