Geocache Description:

CACHE HAS BEEN MUGGLED FOR THE THIRD TIME AROUND 01 NOV 2020 - NEW ONE IN A WEEK! Jolly Jack Horner is best known for his excesses with thumb & plum. Now he is happily retired. He walks with his friends, the Jolly Boys Adventure Club. This cache is on a favourite wander from Clevedon to Portishead. He often pauses there to lean on the fence, watch the boats and think what the Welsh are up to.

The Cache has now been restored in a new container after the original went missing twice (17/10/18 & 18/09/19) It is by the path and his favourite stop. For a short walk, there is access from Belton & Nichols Roads. In order to make the cache one of the very best, Jack persuaded JB1 to produce a model of the famous plum. The result which covers and conceals the micro-cache is a fine example of the carvers art. Please treat it with care and please, please hide it well.

Jack's life in later years has not been easy after being exposed to so much fame. He always remembers meeting Jimi Hendrix at a bus stop in Pill and sharing his Fish & Chips with Tom Jones. This cache represents a recognition that he is now best leading a quiet life. It is not without its moments though so, if you see an old boy pogoing madly at a Wurzels gig, it is probably Jack
