MainePublisher: All geocache placements must have a responsive owner. The cache owner must be able to respond to issues that come up and to submit an "owner maintenance" log to remove the "needs maintenance" icon.

In this case, Groundspeak has sent an email to the cache owner with no response. The cache owner did not respond to any of the cachers hoping to find the cache and did not respond to the reviewer note so the cache is now archived.

The cache location is now open for any Geocacher to place a new cache, including the original cache owner.

Geocache Description:

Have fun finding this nano at a small memorial park - perfect spot for sitting a bit (depending on the weather).

This small park will enjoy having visitors - it may be small (perfect for a nano!), but it's not short on monuments. The Civil War soldiers' monument stands tall, but there are also smaller ones for those who served in the World Wars, Korea, Vietnam and the more recent Desert Storm. A delightful gazebo that served as the old bandstand (not as much used in modern times, but very well maintained nevertheless), trees for shade and benches for sitting. Bring a friend - new or old. Placed with appreciation especially for an old friend, 3Emmerts, who opened my eyes to the excellent world of geocaching!

Being that this is a magnetic nano cache, you will need to follow the GZ and then use your hands!
