Geocache Description:

On august 17th 2013 Latvian alpinists team made first climb to one of untouched and unnamed Pamir mountain peaks to give the name. And we gave the name of the capital of Latvia - Riga. The peak of Riga. 5608 m above the sea level. 

The cache is steal thermos containing the Goecoin called "Mega Riga 2013", the flag of Riga, the flag of the Freeport of Riga, the main Latvia ice hockey team Dinamo Riga keyring, the Riga radio sticker, cycling organizations TruFiXKru Riga sticker, the flag of Latvia, pin "For green Riga", pin of Riga - the European capital of culture 2014. The cache ir easy to find, because it is stored in the top of the peak where we made a cairn. The peak itself is 5806m high and to get on it You need climbing equipment. We arranged with the local alphinist club to take a care of the cache. See attatched photos:   The peak of Riga   Small note on cache maintenance: There is a local cache guardian.
