Saskatoon Sudoku is a puzzle that will take you on a tour of our beautiful city.
Saskatoon was founded in 1883. Saskatoon City Council is the governing body of Saskatoon. The council consists of the mayor and ten councilors representing wards.
Sudoku is a logic-based, number-placement puzzle. The objective is to fill a 9×9 grid with digits so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3×3 sub-grids that compose the grid contain all of the digits from 1 to 9. The puzzle setter provides a partially completed grid, which typically has a unique solution.
The start of your journey will be at one of our city’s many off leash dog parks located in ward 5. There you will find an Ammo Box containing your game package, (and your first clue is on the inside of the lid). Please take only one game package per Team/Cacher. Each package will contain 9 blank game pieces, and a list of 8 other coordinates. In no particular order you will have to travel to each of these 8 coordinates located in one of Saskatoon’s wards and locate the next hint to fill in the game piece (If you have to remove the magnetic hint, please return it where you found it). Once you have collected all 9 pieces, you will have to solve the puzzle to unlock the coordinates to the final location and sign the log book. Cache contains "BUGS"!! some shiny things and a $5 Starbucks Gift card for a FTF prize
