This is the site of a brand new bridge that has just reopened Jeffries Ford Road over The Big Raccoon Creek. The 204 foot Jeffries Ford Covered Bridge stood here from 1915 to April 2, 2002 when it was destroyed by arson. This road was closed for over eleven years!
