Franzen Family Traditional Cache

This is the final resting place for the Franzen family. Their house must have been nearby at one time but now all that is left is this tiny cemetery with a few lonely gravestones to mark their time here. Please take a few minutes to read the markers so that these pioneers of Marion County are not forgotten.

In out never ending battle with the packrats we have replaced the original cache with a smaller cache with a log only which should be more resistant to rodents. The camo is fairly large but the cache itself is a micro and may require tweezers to remove the log. When the road is dry this is a short drive west of K-15 highway. During times of rain or snow the road will be virtually impassible so beware.
