Geocache Description:

The cache IS at the posted coordinates.

The Challenge

Find at least 100 caches, each of which has received at least 50 favourite points.

Feel free to click on the Project-GC banner, below, to see if you've completed this challenge:

PGC Checker

The Details

  • All cache types are eligible.

  • Each find must have a unique GCCode. Thus, only a single “Brass Cap Cache” (GC43F3) and a single “Stash n’ Dash” (GCA0D6) find can be counted.

  • You cannot include this cache among your 100 qualifying finds (even if it ever receives 50 favourite points).

  • Favourite point totals can fluctuate up and down. So, the 100 caches each must have at least 50 favourite points at the time you submit your list of qualifying finds.

  • You cannot find your own caches.

  • To see a list of your most favourited finds, go to the Hide and Seek web page, fill in your username in the “Found by Username” search box (near bottom of page’s left column), and click the “Go” button. When the page of your finds is displayed, click on the top row’s blue ribbon to sort your finds by favourite points.

Note: If you have multiple “Brass Cap Cache” (GC43F3) and/or “Stash n’ Dash” (GCA0D6) finds, they will interfere with the pagenation, but the sort order will be okay. In other words, five pages of 50+ favourite-point finds might not add up to 100 finds.

  • Want to find highly favourited caches in a particular province, state, or country? Go to the Advanced Search web page, use the “By” option to select “By Country/State”, and click the “Search for Geocaches” button. When the list of caches is displayed, click on the top row’s blue ribbon to sort them by favourite points.

  • This challenge should get easier as the months pass and more favourite points are awarded. If you don’t currently qualify, check back at a later time.

  • Here’s a link where you can verify that you have successfully completed this challenge.

Logging this Cache

You can sign this cache’s physical log sheet before you complete its requirements. But do not log an online “Found It” until you’ve signed this cache’s physical log sheet and shown that you’ve met the challenge requirements. We’ll delete any premature “Found Its.”

If you sign the physical log sheet before you complete the requirements, then you can log an online “Write Note” to help you remember this fact.

Providing Proof

Since the Hide and Seek web page allows us to verify that you’ve completed the requirements, you don’t have to provide any proof yourself.

But, if you want to, you could include a list as part of your online log. The Project-GC challenge checker's output (see above) might assist you in this task. For instance, here’s a partial list of our qualifying finds:
