The Challenge

Complete all of these three sub-challenges:

  1. Attend an event (of any sort) during each day of the week:
    • Sunday
    • Monday
    • Tuesday
    • Wednesday
    • Thursday
    • Friday
    • Saturday

  2. Attend an event (of any sort) during each calendar month:
    • January
    • February
    • March
    • April
    • May
    • June
    • July
    • August
    • September
    • October
    • November
    • December

  3. Attend at least three of these six event icons:
    • CITO
    • Event (regular)
    • Giga Event
    • Groundspeak Block Party
    • Lost and Found Event
    • Mega Event

The Details

  • You cannot use the same event to meet multiple sub-challenges. Thus, you must attend at least 22 different events to meet this challenge.

  • “Any sort” of event currently means regular Events, CITO events, Mega events, Giga events, Groundspeak Block Parties, and (the no longer held) Lost and Found events.

  • If an event listing recycles its GCCode (e.g., GCR999), then you can use that same GCCode multiple times. But you must attend a separate event (i.e., different dates) each time you reuse that GCCode.

  • This is not a “streak” challenge; you do not have to attend seven events on seven consecutive days or 12 events on 12 consecutive months. See examples, below.

Logging this Cache

You can sign this cache’s physical log sheet at any time – before, during, or after your qualifying day. But do not log an online “Found It” until you’ve signed this cache’s physical log sheet and shown that you’ve met the challenge requirements. We’ll delete any premature “Found Its.”

If you sign the physical log sheet before you complete the requirements, then you can log an online “Write Note” to help you remember this fact.

Providing Proof

One of the things you must do before claiming an online “Found It” is show that you’ve met this challenge’s requirements. You can do this in various ways, but you must include (at a minimum): (1) a list of 22 GCCodes, (2) the dates you attended each event, and (3) how each event meets one of the sub-challenges (e.g., day of week, month of year, type of icon).

  • For example, you could create a publicly viewable bookmarks list.

  • Or, you could include the list as part of your online log. For instance, here’s a full list of our 22 qualifying finds:
