NewMexico Ranger: New housing development has left this cache exposed, collected late on 2/4/22 for removal. The Shearford lane path is still open as a public footpath for all to enjoy. Thank you to all those that found this wonderful location over the years.

Geocache Description:

Shearford Lane leading downhill from Pilton and near Bradiford. A FP runs down the lane to the river and footbridge leading you towards the woods. After the bridge follow the FP across the field and you will see the 1st Guardian Tree Just prior to the stile and woodland footpath ending with the 2nd Guardian near Blakewell Fisheries. Mannings Pit is the plot of land under threat of housing and is found to the bottom left of Shearford Lane just before reaching the river.

Tree cover might cause an issue if Co-ords not set prior to entering the lane! Slippery when wet and can be very dark within Shearford Lane in low light or over cast days.
