This cache is near the Oak Grove campground on the way up to Ski Apache ski area. This is a nice little campground that is just outside of Ruidoso. Many people, locals and out of towners alike, camp here during the summer season.
This is a good park and grab . Very easy to park, and a short little uphill walk and you're there. The Oak Grove campground is a favorite by many campers and picnickers. Looking to the west from the cache is Sierra Blanca.
