Regular sized cache located off the Ensley Nature Preserve trail. Easy trail with only one fairly steep section. Nicely maintained path. Bring your friendly dog(s) along. Wear mosquito spray/clothing.
Fairly new to the area, the Ensley Nature Preserve is a beautiful place to visit. Every time we go, we find improvements and additions to the area. Now there is a great wooden play structure for kids and a pavilion area with picnic tables.
The trail is only about a mile long on the outside loop with one fairly steep section. If you take the West side entry then you will be going downward on the slope for an easier hike. There are plenty of resting benches along the way and informative tree and plant markings to help you learn a bit about nature while on your caching adventure.
The cache is regular sized covered in my signature "kitty" print. There is an array of treasures to choose from. First one to find may opt to take the geocaching marble.
