"The Scallywagon has been sited over at Dead Man's Island. What's the plan, Captain?" said Ärger. "Let's send out a scouting party to see what they are planning. Go find Swashbuckler Steve and Deckhand Darryl. Tonight, they'll use a rowboat to sneak up on the Scallywagon and report back their findings." Swashbuckler Steve and Deckhand Darryl waited til the darkest time of night and rowed over to the Scallywagon. "Get out and investigate the ship!" Darryl ordered. "No, YOU go first," replied Steve. After a brief argument, they decided to go together. Steve and Darryl jumped off the rowboat and swam over to the nearby ship. Upon getting closer, they realized what they originally thought was the Scallywagon was instead a pile of scrap wood arranged in such a way that it looked like a pirate ship from afar. "We've been tricked!" said Steve. "We need to inform Captain Schlecht that this is not the real Scallywagon!" As they swam towards their rowboat, they realized it wasn't where they left it. "Didn't you tie the boat down, Darryl?!" "I did!" replied Darryl. In the rowboat, far away from the island, were Bonehead and Captain Ollie. With big smiles on their faces, they rowed quickly away from the island, leaving the two pirates marooned.
