Are you tired of your humans going to caching get togethers to visit and having to leave you at home, because you aren’t allowed in?? This event is especially for you!!! We are hosting another picnic for the dogs, but because my geo-partners have been so busy this year we are going to try to avoid the snow and have an indoor event this year. It will be located at The Doggy Style Deli which is a doggy deli so we are all welcome to go and play. We are even allowed to run around a play with each other if we want as it is doggies first, people second here. Location: is the Doggy Style Deli 15131 Stony Plain Road Time: 12pm – 2pm on Saturday Nov 9, 2013 Food: Geo-canines: There will be a cake for the geo-pups to enjoy. There are also a variety of meals available for purchase to be enjoyed at the event or can be taken home, if desired but not required. Human caching partners: there will be chips and snacky foods to share and you can bring your own food too as they don’t have a problem with people bringing in outside food as they don’t sell anything food related for people. Local caches are in the neighborhood if you haven't already found them. (You may have to go for a bit of a walk to get to some of the nearby caches.) Since this is an event for the dogs, the twist on this event is that instead of the prizes being for the people, they will be for their faithful caching companions, the geo-dogs. As usual, the great volunteer spirit of Edmonton area cachers is what makes these events so successful. Volunteers to help with the donation prizes, and bringing food to share will be appreciated. Although the event is being hosted by some very active geo-dogs in the Edmonton area, all cachers are welcome. So come with a dog if you have one or without if you don't. When you RSVP please note how many geo-dogs will be attending so that the hosts can make sure to have enough treats and prizes for all of their friends. We look forward to seeing you at the event
