In 2013, Florida reached a significant milestone, the 500th anniversary of Juan Ponce de León's arrival on Florida's east coast. What makes this anniversary so unique is that Ponce de León's convoy of explorers was the first group of Europeans to document such a landing and give a name to Florida, La Florida. 2013 marks 500 years of history and diverse cultural heritage in Florida – a claim no other state in America can make.

Baker is an unincorporated town in Okaloosa County, Florida. It is located about 10 miles northwest of the county seat, Crestview, in the Florida Panhandle. The Baker Block Museum is in Baker.

The Museum is a repository of local historical documents and artifacts, including a microfilm library of early county newspapers, and abundant genealogical research material. The Museum is open to the public Wednesday through Friday, and the third Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Okaloosa Public Library Co-operative opened the first in the county  library vending machine called the Library Spot on Feb 28, 2013. The Library Spot is at the Baker Block Museum and allows folks in Baker to be able to check books out without having to travel to the Crestview Library.

You are searching for a camouflaged micro container containing a logbook. One of the questions needed to receive the challenge coin is written on the front of the logbook. BRING A PEN!

Please place the cache exactly as found to allow others to enjoy the hunt.
