Geocache Description:


We dubbed this one "The Unknown Resting Place" because, in fact we had not yet discovered it's name. We have a few beautiful cemeteries in the area and we could not neglect placing a respectfully sized cache here. Thanks to Cski we did learn the name of this place is Gilbert Cemetery. Cski also provided a highly educational link containing some history of the area AND some info on those buried here. I did see a few very old plots here from early 1800s. Enjoy but be respectful, you are visiting a place of peace. Please, absoulutely no night caching.
