Belongil Creek is approximately 3km long and has a catchment of approximately 3000 hectares. As the Byron Bay township drains into the Belongil Creek, it is susceptible to flooding from both intense rainfall and elevated ocean levels.
The cache is located in a lovely resting area that boasts beautiful views of the creek at all times of the day, particularly sunrise and sunset. Birdlife is prolific.
It is a camoed cache suitable for modest sized trackables. Please read the instructions on the bison and only take trackables to move to another cache quickly if you are prepared to assist them to achieve their goal. If in doubt, please leave for the next cacher. Trackables are not to keep.
There is a log and pencil.
Please be discrete when accessing and replacing the cache.
A bison (please place a new cache with it or give it to someone who will) for FTF. - congratulations Griffo.
