This cache has moved up the riverbank to avoid seasonal water level increases. It has a new name and a new existence as well as something new to celebrate. Kentucky State University bought the nearby building to use as a community education center about the Kentucky River and the history of the area the river affected. Also, they have a new tour boat that will take visitors on a tour of nearby river highpoints.This is going to be a very cool addition to the downtown historical scene.
The cache is a camo'ed lock-n-lock with log book, pencil and assorted trade items. Park in Paul Sawyier Library parking lot and walk to the cache.
