Geocache Description:

In the first of this series you are looking for a small scewtop pot slightly larger than a film canister, containing a logbook, pencil and some swaps. There is also enough room for small trackables.

This is a small series of cache and dashes located along Wappenham Road, which links Syresham and Wappenham.  All caches are located within a short distance of a parking spot. Wappenham Road is not a busy road, but take care if accompanied by geo-kids and/or geo-dogs. Wappenham is a parish in Northamptonshire around 5 miles south-west of Towcester, north of Syresham and north-west of Silverstone and forms part of the district of South Northamptonshire.  Wappenham had its own railway station until 1951, on the former Towcester/Banbury line between Helmdon and Greens Norton Junction. The last train on the line ran on 12 July 1953. There are lots of great walks around this area, as well as some lovely villages and pubs.

Whilst in the area it is worth stopping to pick up the following nearby cache and dashes:-

GC2FR3V - By Wappenham

GC1551K - Northants Churches: St Mary The Virgin, Wappenham
