Geocache Description:

In the third of this series you are looking for a bison tube, containing a logbook. There is no room for swaps or trackables.

This is a small series of cache and dashes located along Wappenham Road, which links Syresham and Wappenham.  All caches are located within a short distance of a parking spot. Wappenham Road is not a busy road, but take care if accompanied by geo-kids and/or geo-dogs. Wappenham is a parish in Northamptonshire around 5 miles south-west of Towcester, north of Syresham and north-west of Silverstone and forms part of the district of South Northamptonshire.

This cache is named after one of Mrs Foxter’s favourite TV progammes when she was a child. The Adventures of Champion is an American children's Western series that aired from September 23, 1955 to March 3, 1956.  In the UK the series was re-broadcast under the title Champion the Wonder Horse.  The series starred Barry Curtis as 12-year-old Ricky North, who lived on his uncle's ranch in the American Southwest.  Ricky's companions were a wild stallion, Champion and a German Shepherd, Rebel.

Whilst in the area it is worth stopping to pick up the following nearby cache and dashes:-

GC1551K - Northants Churches: St Mary The Virgin, Wappenham
