Costruito dalla famiglia Spada attorno al 1884, II Tempietto Spada 6 sempre stato un punto panoramico ed osservatorio privilegiato. Infattl, durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale, le truppe austroungariche da qui potevano scrutare i rnovimienti dell'esercito italiano lungo II Piave e di conseguenza cannoneggiare le nostre truppe. Il 15 Giugno 1918 ebbe inizio l’offensiva nemica contro le truppe italiane stanziate sul Piave ed il 30 luglio Refrontolo divenne a sua volta bersaglio delle artiglierie del nostro esercito. Durante la baffaglia caddero sul paese più di cinquecento granate. I morti furono diciotto, il dispersi sette, i mutilati cinque, mentre centotrentasette persone morirono complessivamente per gli stenti, la fame e per la disastrosaepidemiaa di "spagnola". Dai bombardamenti del conflitto la vicina chiesa ed il Tempietto ne uscirono danneggiati. Crollato poco pia tardi a seguito di un violento temporale, fu ricostruito nel 1992 e poi donato nel 1994 al Comune di Refrontolo. Il 16 luglio di ogni anno, nella ricorrenza della Madonna del Carmine, viene qui celebrata una messa in suffragio di tutte le vittime.

Having fallen into ruin sometime later following a violent storm, it was rebuilt in 1992 and then donated in 1994 to the City of Refrontolo, On 16th July, every year for the feast of the Madonna del Carmine, a mass is celebrated here in remembrance of all the victims.
