I adopted this cache from the previous owner (Surrey Wood who left the area). One of my favourite caches in the area and a special spot, I couldn't let it go into retirement! There is ample parking close by and 'Hector's Cafe' just over the road. You could grab this as a cache and dash or take a walk into Godalming collecting some of the other nearby caches. This is near water, but you do not have to put yourself in danger or go the wrong side of barriers to collect.
A camouflaged micro cache located in the area of Catteshall Lock on the River Wey Navigation. This is the southern most lock on the River Wey, almost the end of the navigable waterway and the Southern most point of all the British Waterways canal systems. This is an ideal spot for a picnic and to while away a few moments watching boats manouvre through the lock. This can be a high muggle area, please ensure the cache is replaced as found.
