Anaddicted23 Returns to Miami

She left us back in December 2012
to go on a long vacation in Peru. She has spent every weekend visiting Machu Picchu, Iquitos, Arequipa, Trujillo, Huacachina, Paracas, Colca Canyon, Amazon Jungle, Cuzco, Lima, Ica and Huaytara. (Yeh, don’t feel bad, I have never heard of most of them places either!) Some of the things she has been doing is ziplining, white water rafting, hiking, riding mules up the mountain when she could no longer climb, riding dune buggys, horseback riding, boating to see the sea lions and penguins on the Islas Ballestas, riding rickety peke peke in the amazon river with piranhas, sand boarding where she fractured her shoulder, carrying monkeys and sloths and snakes and dancing with Indians from jungle tribes.
If you know Ana…
then you know that she is a pretty picky eater. I am amazed how many new foods she has tried over there. I’m sure some of those photos on facebook were her friend’s meals because they had green in them. I know she is holding out for some chicken wings at 3&Out tonight! She also is NOT fond of snakes, but she has been holding a few and posing with them… via her proxy!
On a serious note:
she is the Global Peacekeeping Operations Initiative Officer. She helps maintain and support the United Nations peacekeeping mission by helping the Peruvians with their Peacekeeping School and Engineering Company. (Yeh, I had to ask her that. I’m not really sure if she even works!) Were very proud of you Ana and Thank You for keeping us safe.
All I know is…
we have been waiting for her to come home since the day she left. Although, she has been to a lot of events and fun things here in Florida, via her PROXY cut-out. You may have seen her hanging around me… literally.
