Geocache Description:

Congratulations to Lati.dude! FTF my first ever hide!

The Deep Hollow Branch is one of several branches of the Cedar Creek. Other branches are the Webbs Mill Branch, Chamberlain Branch, Daniels Branch, Newbolds Branch, Factory Branch, Huckleberry Branch, and several other unnamed tributaries. The Cedar Creek watershed lies mostly in Berkeley and Lacey Townships and drains an area of 54.3 square miles. The Cedar Creek drains into Barnegat Bay and is part of the Barnegat Bay Watershed Management Area.

The Deep Hollow Branch starts south of Lacey Road and meets the Cedar Creek in Double Trouble State Park. The Deep Hollow Branch is located between the Factory and Huckleberry Branches of the Cedar Creek.

The area where this cache is his hidden is north of Lacey Road, near a wide part of the Deep Hollow Branch, that looks more like a pond or swamp. This area is both beautiful and tranquil.

This cache can only be accessed from trails off Lacey Road (Approximately half mile hike.) or Spaulding Ave. (Approximately one mile hike) No bushwhacking required. Log only. Small camo container.

Areas just north and west of the cache location are private hunting lands and are posted with signs. Please stay away from those areas. Motor vehicles are not allowed, so enjoy the walk, jog or trail bike……njpd
