The Moji red brick place is the compound facilities which is stored precious brick building group and conjugated- It operated it as a beer factory of the empire beer in 1913 and was Sapporo Breweries factory until 2000-.
"Moji beer brick building" using the slag brick of Yawata Steel Works is the existing domestic oldest real slag brick building.
The development and the history of the then brand "Sakura beer" and beer industry are displayed with fascination in the hall.

門司赤煉瓦プレイスは、大正2年に帝国麦酒の麦酒工場として操業し、平成12年までサッポロビール工場だった貴重な煉瓦建物群を保存活用した複合施設です。
八幡製鉄所の鉱滓煉瓦を使った「門司麦酒煉瓦館」は、現存する国内最古の本格的鉱滓煉瓦建築物です。館内では当時のブランド「サクラビール」やビール産業の発達と歴史が興味深く展示されています。
