Alpington Swag #1 - Alpington Hall Traditional Cache

This is a small series of caches that we plan to continue to develop around the Alpington area.  Our 'Swag' series will hopefully be relatively easy to find traditional caches, intended for the kids who enjoy swapping goodies in the caches as they go (as our boys do). 

And the start is not too far away from the 'Brooke & Beyond' caches. 

This cache can be found in a small wood along the public footpath near Alpington Hall.  If you start from the inital parking (shown in way points, not the Wheel of Fortune one!) you'll walk past a paddock containing 3 very friendly donkeys who may accompany you on the first part of your walk. 

As this is our very first cache, there's a First To Find patch as well as a number of goodies to swap.  

There is some tree cover here which may throw GPS tracking out a little, although we've tested the co-ordinaries a few times to ensure they get you close.
