If you're looking for an easy Smiley there are days this could be the right place. If you arrive and have trouble finding a parking place we recommend you look another day.
Container was stolen and the replacement is a Bison tube. Probably not really a P&G since there is a short walk to GZ but parking is available within a reasonable walking distance of the cache.
Keep in mind that this area is low land and your search may take you into some wet areas. Dress prepared for soft and wet terrain. You should also keep a close watch on small children since the mosquitoes here have been known to carry off a few.
My friend Team Mork Howbell once had a cache nearby that was stolen several times. He tells me one 15 second scene in May 1988 for the movie "Field of Dreams" was filmed here. Although the majority of the film was shot in Dubuque County, Iowa, several additional location scenes were needed to complete the film. Since Kevin Costner has a vacation home in nearby Corolla the dug out you see just a few feet south of the cache location was chosen for the 15 second shot and then dubbed over with monologue for a scene where Mr. Costner is gazing into an adjacent corn field.
We think most people would agree that this area is off the beaten path and perfect for dodging paparazzi.
