Continue your paddle upriver past the #416. Here the river starts to narrow and shallow, so the water is starting to move a lot faster. Take care approaching the fast water due to the ledge up ahead upstream from here!
You will need water transportation to reach the cache once at the GZ, which is reachable from your watercraft.
This cache will take you to a put-in on Cedarview Road, just southwest of Ottawa, where you'll find parking at the side of the road, and a launch for your cartop boat.
DO NOT park along Moodie Drive (No Stopping signs) as there is NO PUT IN there. There is also a ledge across the river just upstream of the cache, and shallow water where you might bottom out. Approach from downriver!
Watch for painted, and snapping turtles sunning themselves on logs, and green herons perched on trees on the way to the GZ.
